My sense on abortion comes from the Christian angle of two things. I'll begin with number one, a nation will be judged if it oppresses the poor, and America will be judged for that. Number two, I believe every life is sacred. That's sort of a Superman angle too, that we need to cherish life and cherish the things that make life worth living. Now, with these two combinations, I believe that abortion should be prevented if possible, but at the same time, leaving the lady with the bag, if the father was irresponsible or doesn't have enough income to support the family in our economic driven society, is very poor. Larger safety net is what I'm advocating because the Republicans who claim to be Christian say, you know what? The kid is important. Don't kill the kid. But you also know what? I like the kid being poor. Someone give him nada. I'm going to worship my temple of mammon, and I'm going to not do nothing for nobody. I'm just going to pontificate and tell people what to do so I feel better about my life. Yeah.
