Hey guys, so I want to know if you usually do your workouts during the weekdays more or the weekends more because I feel like everybody's different. Everybody schedules a little different. Sometimes, you know, there are weekend warriors and then sometimes there are people that just get it done during the week. I definitely am more of a person that does it pretty much primarily during the week and then the weekends I don't, I usually rest but every once in a while I will go on the weekend too. So yeah, let me know. What do you usually do?
I'm going to the gym only when I'm off. I don't have specific days when I'm off So it doesn't matter if it's weekdays or weekends. I'll go to the gym when I'm off.
Isn't that really interesting because everybody thinks so differently? So like that works for you, that's amazing. But when it's like my day off, I want to have like the whole day off. So like going to the gym is like a part of my work or my chore I guess. So I don't want to do that on my days off, but I understand why people do it. It's so funny that I just think the opposite of you.
I find that working out during the week works best for me just because of my goal right now, which is to build muscle. So I'm doing like split routines and you know, progressive overloads and stuff like that. So I typically work out like 4 days a week, 3-4 days a week.
I feel like I'm in the exact same spot as you. I work out mainly on the weekdays. I find that I would rather do it while I'm working and then have the weekends off. And I also have a split routine. I'm trying to gain muscle, progressively overload. And I want to rest on the weekend. So going to the gym in my mind doesn't equal rest. you know.
I'm kind of winging it I like to actually work out on the weekend because I find that the gym is a lot of deer and I like it in the gym so I go back-and-forth but usually take my rest days on like a Friday and then I'll go on Saturday and Sundays
It's a really good idea because I don't go too much on the weekends. I will go like Thursday Friday, take the weekends off normally, but I have noticed that the weekends aren't as busy and it is nice. So I like that.
I would say I usually work more out on the weekdays. Weekends are usually made at my family time. So I might even do basic exercises on the weekends such as push-ups, the bare minimum. But again, I don't go overboard because you know, you've got to get that rest as as well.
Yeah, I agree with you. I usually work out in the weekdays and like spend more time with my family or work on projects I've got going on on the weekends and like I do like to rest. I will keep active, but I won't go to the gym.
So I guess I want to Qatari day cause I bike everywhere I guess every day but when I had a strict regiment it was Monday through Friday and that included not just bike rides but also I calisthenics going to make it a park gym not like a gym gym but like an outdoor Jim kind of thing Yeah and definitely rest of the weekends it's crazy that was doing like 1580 miles a day day after day 603 miles a week I stopped that back in 2016
