So what is a fast food or I guess junk food that you kind of miss eating all the time? I don't necessarily miss it so much but I used to love McDonald's. I still kind of do but my body doesn't I can't process it like I used to and so I haven't had to actively eat it like I did when I was only a few years ago. I I didn't really get to eat it when I was younger. So McDonald's is something I miss sometimes because I used to just love it. And my favorite thing about McDonald's are their fries. And whenever I get the chance, I do like to get some fries. But honestly, my body just can't process it. I miss it, I love it, but my body can't handle it. Do any of you relate? Do you guys have something that you miss that you wish you could eat all the time.
People fail to talk about the fact that chicken nuggets have a life expectancy similar to sliced apples and avocados and even a banana. You know what I mean? Like you've got to eat it when it's freshly crunched. Like I know it's okay to eat the next day but if it's not fresh and crisp it doesn't slap the way it supposed to. You ever eat a soggy nugget? Ooh, ruined my day.
I haven't really been a big fast food person probably since I was a teenager. I like little things from certain fast food places and so for me fries like fries are my weakness which is aka carbs but I love fresh hot fresh McDonald's french fries like I could eat those all day long if I could. I'm not really a food of other ones.
Yeah, so I'm Haitian, so growing up I wasn't allowed to really eat fast foods like that. So something we had like once every few months. But yeah, McDonald's fries, like the moment I had my own money and my own way of getting to McDonald's, like I was having those fries so much. So much so that I got them for free for a year because I was always, always eating them. But I don't eat them that much anymore, so.
probably pizza from Little Scissors or Pizza Hut and some Jack in the Box. I miss it but sometimes when I eat it like my stomachs are turning like I guess my stomach can't take it anymore but I do miss it
It's such a blessing in disguise when you can't like process junk food anymore because it's like, yeah, like it would hit and it's cheaper to have, but it's not healthy for us. So we can't have it or we can't even have it in the way that we would want to have it. I was obsessed with Jack in a Box when I first went to LA. I thought it was like the best thing I've ever had in my life. and then apparently it was like the equivalent to garbage.
One of my favorite to-go orders when I was in college as a broke college student, it would be small fries, four-piece nuggets, and a pineapple mango smoothie just so I can still feel healthy at the end of the day. When I was feeling a little, oh I don't know, eating my feelings, it would be a fish filet, fries and a frappe caramel frappe.
It's gotta be the 7th, number 7. It comes with fries, two small cheeseburgers. I mean, they small. They are small. This is why I love them so much cause you can eat like two of them without even, you know what I'm saying? Feeling slugly or you know what I'm saying? Like fat and stuff. Yeah, I like that meal, bro. This is awesome.
Where is that one from? Where is that one from? Is that the McDonald's one? I don't know. I like a combo slaps every time. You know what I mean? Like something there's a level of comfort that comes with a combo and then when I'm done eating it it pairs very well with a little bit of shame a little bit of guilt.
I think I kind of miss all of them to be honest like KFC I was just thinking about the fried chicken and mashed potatoes and coleslaw McDonald's I'm so gross I like the flavor fish Taco Bell nachos Bell grande I miss all of it
Oh my goodness, I don't think I ever really had talk about but yeah, KFC, like I wasn't crazy about their chicken, but something about the mashed potato and gravy, it slapped every single time. My order never made sense. I would get a small mashed potato, but a large bowl of gravy me just so I could just drench it.
I agree those mashed potatoes are so good when I was pregnant I crave them all the time and by the way that's the only reason why I like the chicken is because I pour the gravy over it so yeah it's the gravy you could put that gravy on anything and that peppery yummy it'll just make anything taste good
That is so crazy. I don't know why but I didn't think of Chick-fil-A as a fast food place even though it literally is. But the cool thing about it is that once you wean off of eating fast food, your body gets so used to not needing it. It's just nice to reminisce because given the option to actually eat it, your body doesn't even want it anymore. Hopefully.
You know what? I'd never like the McFurry because it would piss me the F off and it would always be like... It wasn't good. I don't know how to explain it. But then again too, I don't like chocolate. Like I can't eat it. So that might be another reason why I wasn't able to enjoy it. Um, but yeah, what's your favorite like pizza brand like fresh Italian pizza or like like Papa John's Domino's?
One thing about McDonald's, it will always find a way to slap. I just, I don't know, you know what? I haven't had it in a while. I had it, no, let me correct myself. I had it a couple weeks ago. I wasn't able to eat my old recipe because I kind of grew out of eating it. But I went out a couple of days ago and I had a few drinks with my friends and when I got home, my friends stopped by and got me some McDonald's fries, slapped. wonderful time.
Sis, you were eating white castle? White castle! Honestly, I'm not gonna lie to you. There are certain foods that just make me think it's just made up and on TV only. And white castle has to be hand in hand with um, pot pies and meatloaf. White castle? That's okay. I don't think it's meant for you to remember what it tastes like.
