Just seen this and come across this which is absolutely amazing and I don't know if anybody here is into investing and so on but chatGPT is actually outperform top U.K. investment funds. Once again I've had very strong opinions on this in the past. It goes to show that you know a lot of these people get paid far too much for far too little and obviously there's been automation in investing for a long time but not so much in actual portfolio picking for a million different reasons. But yeah, I just wanted to share this because I think it's absolutely brilliant. Speaking of, maybe I should get chat.gbt to build me a portfolio. That'd be brilliant. Has anybody used it for any investment related purposes?
It is brilliant and my question for you is do you know what data they're pulling in to aggregate results because given how accurate it is I imagine that the data systems that are pulling in all this information is pretty massive I am always fascinated by the construction of things versus just the efficacy of it even though I have no experience in technology
So depending on the limitations of the actual platform and engine itself, I don't think it has the capacity to link up to existing stop picking software. What I would imagine is that it has the access to analyze every portfolio that is, that is, um, that is public while at the same time, knowing everything about all the companies that are picked, every bit of announcements, every bit of news, at any...
So it's sort of one of those, you know, almost godlike features where it actually knows everything and everything that exists publicly on every company at any point in time, even things that may not exist if it scours, you know, dark sides of the internet for places that we would never be able to find. And then comparing cross-referencing that to existing portfolios. I could be very wrong, but I would imagine that's what it has access to.
When it comes to data aggregation when it comes to result rendering results the dark web is a little bit more scattered than butts or a dark place dark web search engines are a little bit more scattered than standardized ones so that would have to be a very complicated code not that I know anything about coding him so yeah now I'm intrigued if you stumble upon more info if you could send me articles would love to look into that thanks
