Curious, do people see a lot of these types of initiatives around and I'm going to explain to you where I'm coming from. So a few friends of mine, including a great colleague of mine and the founder of the company I'm working for have set up a company called Code Untapped. This is a few years ago. And just to read you the initial statement, I mean our mission is to provide individuals from underrepresented backgrounds with opportunities to solve real world problems, learn, collaborate and showcase their skills through free and regular innovation Lab days. So what they actually do is they help basically minorities gain access to free coding courses over a period of time and then also help place them. It's an absolutely brilliant concept and they've done super super well and and they actually I mean they've started this because of the complete lack of opportunity and availability. So I'm curious because I don't know anything other than this and I'm wondering if you are familiar with any similar initiatives. If this is something that you've seen wherever you are in the world and by all means what you think about them.
Do this is awesome and I've seen a few of these sorts of similar set ups for people that are represented I know that there is a go to code focus on getting women into development and tech which I think he would I think is amazing and there's a few others that I have renowned bottom amazing concepts and hopefully providing well needed support for communities and people to elevate them cells
Yeah for sure and the guys running here, I mean they're just the best people and extremely, you know, well achieved and successful people as well. So definitely, definitely a group of people I look up to greatly and it's really cool to see and I'm really hoping that it inspires other people as well. I mean I know that they may actually do something with white labeling their product even to large institutions which is quite cool.
Thank you so much for posting this question I think that when we have discussions about topics like these it's important to also talk about resources and the accessibility of tangible products so if we're teaching somebody presumably how to create an app or how to create a website then we need equipment to do that so I guess my question to you is do you know of any organizations that provide the actual hardware
That is a great question and I actually will I'm gonna ask these guys who run this how they solve that in the event that somebody may not have it because obviously the idea is to allow this opportunity to people, especially people who don't have access to these things They have some setups for it, but yeah, that's really really cool if you get it if you come across any of these organizations like please do let me know
