Happy Monday everybody! So today's question to start off the week is how often do you drink protein shakes? So when I was starting my fitness journey and I started learning all about how you need a lot of protein to grow your muscles, I would drink one to two shakes a day to keep my protein levels up. But honestly it just didn't become sustainable because it started feeling feeling like most of my protein came from protein shakes. So I started eating more chicken, egg whites, yogurt, just trying to get it through food instead of shakes. So now if I do drink a shake, I only drink protein shakes maybe two to three times a a week after a very heavy workout.
I haven't had a protein shake in a really long time. Like I'm gonna say a year or two, and I really think I should start getting back into that, especially with summer right around the corner and being busy.
I used to drink them every day in the beginning of my fitness journey but then I got health, you know, got messed up so I'm definitely gonna try to find a clean protein powder? I just don't know when.
No I've been drinking protein shakes the past year or two now but there's a first time that I tried putting my protein powder into coffee and a little bit sugar that shit was good as fuck
