Hey everyone, I hope you guys are having a wonderful week. I thought I would jump on and ask this question because I keep seeing it all over social media and hearing the answers for it have been really cool. But anyways, the question is, how did you meet your current or ex-spouse slash significant other? I met my current partner through a dating app. And if anyone wants to hear the full story for that, I'm more than glad to share. But it was a really cool thing and I'm so glad we met that way because I kind of had a little synopsis to who he is before I got to meet him in person. So yeah, I would love to hear your stories.
Thank you so much. It's really nice of you to say. Yeah, so to answer your question, I'm the one that made the first move because I'm an extrovert. I'm a social butterfly and I was like, I want to talk to him. So I brought up something from his profile and we just had a huge conversation about it.
I think the story about how you met your partner is actually very cute, especially traveling abroad. That sounds like a romance movie. That's really, really cool. Love it.
I read somewhere that the two most common places that you meet someone is through work or school. So the fact that you met somebody in high school speaks volumes. So yeah, thank you for sharing that. I really appreciate it.
Oh wow, that's honestly awesome. I really applaud you for that because I have Spoke about this in another post But I feel like people just don't approach people like they used to because of technology and dating apps and just people's fear
We met because I was the owner of a coffee shop and then he will come by as a customer every single day till you know talk to me and that's how it all started
Oh my goodness, wait, that is so cute. That's like something you hear out of a movie. Wow, I'm actually really happy for you. And also an owner of a coffee shop? Oh, you go, girl.
OK you ready for a wild story so that was his app called Smule and it's a singing apps is a karaoke app so so much things 1/4 of the duet and then you join well this guy showed up on my for you page for it and he was in New York but I didn't stop me because he had a big following and a lot of girls were watching it so my Scorpio I was like OK I wanna get his attention and so I started duetting with him and he sang Disney song so I'm also like goddamn he's a Disney prince let me get out his horse
It's a really long story but I cut it short I got his attention flew to New York stay there for a while he came back to California with me then we flew back to New York I stayed there for about 3 to 4 months he was finishing up being in the military with his military contract Air Force and then we took Route 66 back to California we've been together for six years and we have been married for one year so there you go
I have never heard of someone meeting that way and that's actually so cool because you do hear of dating apps and like social media platforms but not exactly that. That's really cool
Also, I want to say I'm Californian, so it's really cool that you mentioned California. I've never been to New York, but you just inspired me to take a trip out there with my partner. Sounds awesome. I'm wishing you and your husband all the best.
Oh wow, that's actually such a sweet story. You don't really hear too many occurrences with church and marriages. Like usually it's like a mutual friend or social media or you know, school. That's cool. That's really, really awesome.
Me, I met my wife, actually I was working at this job in retail right and I went off on a long summer holiday trip for like four weeks in the space of that time they recruited new people and then when I came back I just see her upstairs signing in and I'm like who's this? So obviously had to chat a hub and now we're together for six years.
Oh wow, that's actually such an awesome story. Yeah, because you know nowadays I hear that people usually meet their significant other through work or school or travel, even social media. Yeah, I'm wishing in your wife all the best.
