One of the healthiest things that we can practice is more mindfulness around how often we compare ourselves to other people that we see on social media platforms. It is very healthy to catch yourself in that moment without the judgment, but just a simple observation of why am I comparing myself to this person in this moment, and what does it make me feel? If it makes you feel insecure, if it makes you feel less valuable, less beautiful, less chosen, then you know that that is a toxic belief and it is not rooted in truth because nothing could be further from the truth. Just because a person's image portrayed on social media may exude happiness and wealth and fame and popularity doesn't mean that the person's quality of life is better than yours. And even if they have more of something specific, it doesn't take away from who you are and the intrinsic value that you have and the ability for you to become a better version of yourself, not to compare yourself to a specific person or a status quo, but we all have the capacity to become better versions of ourselves so that we can be more whole in our spirit, in our soul, in our body, in all of these different areas of our life. So for me, the only comparison that I allow for myself to really meditate on is like, who was I, you know, five weeks ago? Who was I, you know, last year? Who was I five years ago? Because it's me. And I don't even look into that with judgment, but just observation. And I allow for myself to celebrate the strides that I've made and not look back.
I think this is one of my favorite him somebody's I've heard because I compare myself all I used to go myself all the time I still Chyna do little bit but yeah just know it's easier said than done
So if you have other people comparing you to other people, like your boyfriend or like a fan, or comparing you to someone else, listen to music, block them out, and remember that's not eat your voices in your head, those are someone else's.
I'm glad you resonated with it because so many women do have to deal with comparison and so it's important to catch yourself doing it in for me the alternative is to speak life and truth over myself versus the negative thoughts that come over my head in and sting
