Have you ever taken a mental health day? And if so, what do you do on your time off? And if you've never taken one, what would you like to be able to do on a day that you take off just to make sure that you're taking care of your well-being? For me, I've taken a mental health day when I have been an employee in the past and I didn't even necessarily call it that. I just took a day off, but I was very intentional to rest. I was intentional to eat well. I was intentional to read and not spend too much time on social media. And I think that employers have to understand that especially in today's climate there is so much more anxiety and stress because of everything that's going on in the world. And so I would say that for any employer that's out there to encourage your staff to take time off when and if needed if they have lots of stuff going on at home or if they just feel that they're tired, burnt out, and they need to just rest and restore. because a person who is burnt out and tired and feels overwhelmed is not going to be productive in the workspace anyway. So the more that you care for your employees, of course, you know, within the boundaries that you're allowed and you're able to in your workspace, it's going to incentivize that employee to do better at their job. So please let me know what you like to do on your days that you take off to take care for your well-being.
I actually just did a Vermont to go was my first time ever taking one from work I did go to work and I just cannot do it so I end up leaving him in for me I just really need to like sit with my feelings allow myself to feel everything that was going on a journaled and I slept a lot too which actually helped because when I'm struggling with anxiety and depression I don't sleep enough
I have right now I currently go to school and sometimes especially since I do depression that I sometimes just gotta take that day off and rec my thoughts and even when I do get a job I still plan to take those days
