The issue is not the name of God. The issue is how you imagine the creator of universe. Islam is the only religion that describes God in a manner befitting his majesty. Christians associate God to a man. The Jews say that God rests and forgets they should seek forgiveness from God for these assumptions which have no basis. For example in chapter 112, God said he is Allah, the one, Allah, the sustainer needed by all. He has never had offspring, nor was he born, and there is none comparable to him.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Say, He is Allah, the One, to Allah belongs the firmness. He has no begotten, nor was He begotten, nor is there to Him any equivalent.

Yeah there is one and only God and he revealed his name to Abraham and Abraham knew him by name um so yeah unless Muslims can identify that it's Yahweh that they're serving then it's not him because as you know you know all these nations tribes and languages they have their own gods they serve them in their own ways do you know what I'm saying so um if you're making a claim that it's the one God make sure that everything is lining up in the

It's not about how we imagine God, it has nothing to do with that because everyone has their own imagination and their own ideas. As I said before, it's not about how you're praying, it's about who you're praying to. Who are you praying to? The word Allah is a contraction of Al-Ilah which means the God, which God are you serving? It's not the God of the Bible, it's not Yahweh.

Your ideas about God does matter if you think that God have a son and then think that this son is divine. A son who was a baby then grow up like a normal man. A son who should eat to survive. Where did you get those ideas about the creator of everything? Muslims worship the creator of everything. Nothing is like him. He doesn't have a son. He doesn't need a son and all the universe. What we know and what we don't know and everything need him and depend on him.

Muslims believe that God was in direct communication with Adam, the first person that was created, and when Adam and Eve sinned in the garden, God taught Adam how to ask for forgiveness and God forgave them. So there is that, and that God is Allah. It's an Arabic word.

Also, Muslim, what it means is believer. That's what the word means, is believer. So, when you believe in God, the God, the God of us all, then you are a Muslim, right?

Muslims don't believe that Quran is a third testament after the old and new one, because we don't believe that the current Bibles are from God. We believe that God sent several books from the beginning of humanity with the same message without contradiction which is consistent. For example, the Injil was revealed to Jesus, peace be upon him, so by definition the Bibles you have right now doesn't represent the Injil. I don't understand why those Bibles are considered to be inspired by God if don't even know the authors in contradicting each other. It's clearly inconsistent.
