I think that I have thought that God offends easily because people offend easily. And the really beautiful thing about people is that we reflect God because we're made in His image. The bad thing about people is that people are representatives of God, but when we don't act like Him, we don't represent Him. Even though we're still made in His image, we still have relationships, we still have the capability to love like Him, but when we refuse to, we can hurt people in the same strength that we could also be loving them. And I really feel like I've been thinking that God offends easily because people offend easily. Even people who say that they know God or love God. And God's not like that. God is actually very kind and He's actually really patient. And if you can think of the most loving and patient and kind person who has been there for you, even in a moment or even consistently, the most consistent person you can think of that's been the most loving, God is the most like that person in that way, in the way that they love. And a lot of times I think that I'm worried about offending or whatever God, but He rejoices more than He's offended. When you're pursuing Him and you're looking for Him and you're responding to Him with a yes, like every time you learn something new about Him, every time you learn something that He loves, that He loves forgiveness, that He loves, you know, and you are going toward that. It doesn't mean that you're there yet, but you're pursuing Him and you're trying. He's so pleased with that. And the moments, in every moment they were like, God, I'm trying, I'm not there. He honors that. And so please don't feel like God offends easily. He's the most kind person. Just think of Him like that and pray about everything. He's there for us.
