I don't like personality tests, but I've taken all of them and I know what kind of personality I am and they're all wrong. They're all wrong. But yeah.
Myers-Briggs! I love Myers-Briggs. That was actually the first personality test I ever took. INFP, you said? That's awesome. I feel like last time I took it I was an INTJ. So we can relate on a couple things.
I like them because they give me language for things that make you feel less alone. I don't know if you felt that way or not, but if you did, I'd love to know more about how your Myers-Briggs helped you, I guess, move in the world.
Hi Laura, yes I definitely agree with you. You know, I didn't know before about these personality types until I learned it from a friend. And I definitely felt like it has helped me in many ways as well.
We definitely do have a lot of similarity in common and I think that's pretty awesome, you know? These personality tests can also bring people together and closer.
And it's pretty cool to learn more about yourself and that was the best thing about learning more about me is to become a better version of me and this has helped me do that.
I think that INTJ personality types are very intellectual, very smart, very driven for knowledge. And I really admire that. Someone famous would be Elon Musk.
So if I'm not mistaken, he is an INTJ as well. You guys are definitely curious, independent, smart, and girl you have all the good traits in you. I'm not sure if you guys are aware of this, but I'm sure you guys are.
These personality types as well as teach you to understand different personality types, how to talk to them, you know, what they like. So when you're around someone like that, you know how to respond to them.
I think it's so easy for us to look at the other personality types and almost put them on a pedestal. Like, oh, these people have such great qualities and I'm probably feeling the same way about yours.
So I guess you can take notes, you can pay attention from these tests, you can listen to the professionals, but you just can't fully sleep on them. It will create limitations.
Something that I think is super helpful is the human design chart. That speaks a lot to a person's personality because it talks about their subconscious and their unconscious.
I have found that I am a ISFJ-T, aka defender type personality, has a little woman on it, and then they also have, I think, celebrities that are the same.
That's so interesting. How do you feel like knowing your Myers-Briggs and your Enneagram have helped you either know more about yourself or interact with others or just be in the world?
Well, dog, I'm gonna keep it short and sweet. It actually helped me a lot find out who I really am And actually also, you know revealed a lot of hidden things about me that I didn't know about myself back then But it kind of came full circle.
Well, Doc, I actually got one more question. Can you give me the full report about my personality type in general? Like, what does it mean if you put the MBTI and the Enneagram together?
So I definitely am not an expert and I do not know a lot about it. I just know from personal research my doctorate is definitely not in this field so I am NOT the one to ask.
I mean the little I do know about the Enneagram 8 is they tend to be very loyal people. They do not like being bossed around. They need to respect authority in order to obey them. That's very, very important.
And then the INTP is is really fun. You tend to be a forward thinker from what I know, spontaneous and can be fun. You'd probably be a good person to go to for advice. Just the little I know.
