I absolutely, positively hate when people take my passion for aggressiveness. It drives me insane because it just makes me feel like you're basically saying, you're a bitter black woman or enraged black woman. It's like, no, I'm just very passionate.
I totally agree as a black woman the misconception that when we speak and when we say what we say it's angry like no we're not angry we just said what we said and we mean what we say.
I hear you as another black woman and it sucks because even when something does happen to us where it makes sense to like naturally be upset about it, we're not allowed to have that. We're just not supposed to have any emotion.
I would say being a black man, being upset with society, I'm able to a black man. Also, just my skin tone. I go in the store, I go in the neighborhood, gay community, looking like I'm different,
Yo, this goes out to all the motherfuckers that say, oh, the motherfucker don't wanna say what he gotta say. Um, I'm saying what I gotta say. I'm just searching through my vocabulary, motherfuckers. Shit. Damn, like, I hate you now-
Common misconception that makes me want to scream is when people assume that somebody with HIV was promiscuous or a sex worker or something like that, but doesn't realize it's only one person one time.
But I always tell them that to me those things aren't fun to me. You know, I don't find fun in dancing in a club and not be able to have conversation when music is so loud.
And then they look at me in a bad light like I'm the one who's boring or like, you know Like not fun to be around which is not true Like that's not me. I'm not boring.
I just like to have conversations that stimulate the mind, you know, getting to know somebody and you know, seeing their walk of life. I love listening to stories of older people.
To me this is fun because older people have so much wisdom and knowledge. You know, they were here for so much longer than us and they know a lot that we don't.
So, I don't like when people tell me, oh, you know, you don't drink or do these things, you know, like the misconception of it, because I like what I like, and you know, you will like what you like.
The fact that because I am a Scorpio, that everybody thinks I'm a hard ass, when in reality, I'm a softy at heart. So yeah, that's a big one right there. Crazy, isn't it?
