So my colleague keeps making jokes about the disappearance of Amelia Earhart. For those of you who don't know, she disappeared while flying her plane around the world in 1939. And I don't know, I just think it might be a bit too soon.

If those jokes are too soon, then the 9-11 jokes already hit the tower. Like the fuck? Tell her to kill herself, please. Tell her to close off.

Well it depends on the person really, if they don't like that joke they can always tell them look listen I don't really like that joke that wasn't really cool and if they don't like that then just leave them.

Like you, you have the right to say that you don't like the joke when you don't like it. That's completely fine, and no one should stop you from saying it.
