Okay, you guys so this girl and her boyfriend broke up and she wants to know how do you stop yourself from reaching out to an ex because she's so tempted to talk to him again and honestly, I think that's a really bad idea and the first thing she should do social media wise is to block him on everything because out of sight out of mind and then in Terms of you know that temptation this sounds really cliche, but time heals all so I feel like she's got to keep herself busy by doing hobbies and passions or you know trying to do things that she's never done before and That way she can discover like all these joyful things because I feel like to Talk to an ex not only is it gonna set back her healing process It's just not gonna help her move forward with any other guy that she wants to have in the future But I think just having an ex around I don't know her exact circumstances But just having an ex around like that like it's not gonna help anyone and it opens up all these like false Possibilities if that makes sense. So yeah, that's what I have to say Would love to hear your perspective

Okay, so I went through the same thing with my BF and the thing I did was I reached out every time I wanted to until I lost the desire to do so. Like it went on for a very long time, of course it did, and it wasn't good for my mental health or, you know, overall my dignity, but yeah, I was, I was unwell, you can say. So never ever reach out, block them, and yes, time does heal everything.

First of all, I just want to say thank you so much for answering this post, especially with the way you've been vulnerable about it because I really have so much respect for you. And the way of you mentioning how you did it every time you wanted to until you lost the desire is very, very, very relatable because I've definitely been there. And yeah, it's overall not good for anyone's mental health, like you said. And you know what? Blocking them is the way to go. Delete, delete, delete.

Oh, I definitely agree. That's why they call an ex an ex. When you have an ex and an ex that really was destructive in your life or cheated on you 10 times behind your back, then yeah, you should not talk to them or whatever. You should not even associate with them. Just stay as far away as you can and just focus on your future.

So she's hurting and she wants comfort and she knows that if she goes back to an ex that it's like guaranteed that that person is going to give her the time and the attention which you know is a bad idea because that feeling is only going to last temporarily and it's really not going to feel real unless she is asking for a commitment and she is definitely not ready for that.

called a stronghold. And you got to remember, this goes for all of us. The moment that you lay down with someone, you become one with that person. You're connected to that person spiritually. So, um, a lot of times it's, it's not so much as what someone is giving someone on a physical aspect of it, but more of a spiritual stronghold. Demonic.

It's hard, it's fucking hard, but you gotta quit it like a drug. Gotta just, depends on the degree of wrong or how y'all ended it. If it was mutual, then, I mean, you can just delete them and you just gotta have self-control, but if it's tough, then just block them, block them on all medians, and then think of all the reasons why you broke up in the first place. It's usually reason enough to stay away. It's usually reason enough to stay away.
