Okay, so a couple years ago, I was buying some stationery from my office and I saw this kit where there was an opportunity to write letters to yourself. And I actually have written letters to myself before, but it had me thinking, have you ever written a letter to yourself? Because from my obvious answer, it's yes. And I would love to continue doing that, not gonna lie. But if you haven't, would you be willing to start? Let me know.

I would like to know about what is your field and your major, if you like to say that.

Yeah, totally. I can answer that. Well, I'm no longer in school, I graduated, but I have a Masters of International Business degree and I work in the business field. I do social media for a living.

No I don't really see the necessity of writing a letter when you can just journal. I have journaled. Journaling to me is like writing a letter to yourself because you can go back and you can read not just one day in the life but several days in the life and you can get more context out of what was going on with you. So journaling to me is better.

Yeah that totally makes sense with journaling as well because you can go back and like openly see what you said beforehand versus a letter being sealed away somewhere. I actually do enjoy journaling as well but there's just something about letters that I find are more of a time capsule if that makes sense.

I'm gonna be honest with you girl, you have some of the most amazing questions on here and I see you over my feed and I love that you always have something to talk about, like something's new every single day and something's really interesting. So yeah, have you ever written a letter to yourself? I have, just because of the fact sometimes I want to let myself know on goals of mine and I don't know, just something good to do as a practice.

Oh wow, thank you so much. Honestly, that just made my whole entire month. That was really nice of you to say and I've been having a rough week. I feel like everyone has. And seriously, I really appreciate the time you took to answer that with such kindness and also say some wonderful things. I hope you're having a great start to your weekend. And thank you again for commenting. It means a lot.

Yeah, I actually do write letters for myself, you know, I write letters about my past, and I know my past is a bit messed up and, you know, and I'm still writing letters now about, you know, my career, music, and, you know, being up to over the years and months and all that, but yeah, I'm still doing it today, since then, you know, all the way to the end.

First of all I just want to say I really appreciate your vulnerability and talking about you know you recognizing the past and writing that and what you were saying that you hope to continue writing these letters and that's a huge part why I like to write letters too because I can reflect on what happened in the past and what's going on now in the present and what I hope for in the future so keep it up you sound like you're on the right track and thank you so much for always just being so nice on my page it means a lot.

okay so I have never written a letter to myself sounds like a good idea though but I have never done that and there's one post from one of the participants about writing a journal I'm quite for this idea of writing a journal because that is more regular and you get more context as she mentioned and writing a letter also

writing a letter as you mentioned is more or less like a time capsule you can open it up later on and just reflect and you know in retrospection you can think about like what is it that you were thinking earlier so that makes a lot of sense but ideally we don't have a lot of time to do all these things you know looking at it from that perspective makes it a little difficult to kind of adjust and manage time so I don't know
