So earlier I made a post about caramel apples and not only that, but I noticed that people pronounce that word also as caramel. So I'm curious, how do you pronounce the word caramel or caramel? I personally say caramel, but if you say caramel, I'm very interested in hearing why, because even though it spells it out that way, I just have to say caramel. I don't know if it's because of where I'm from or what, but yeah, team caramel.

Oh man, yeah, this gets me with mayo too. It's like, it's mayonnaise, but I have friends who call it mayonnaise. What? Mayonnaise? Like the nays coming from a man? No, mayonnaise. Or, you know, mayonnaise? Mayo, mayo. Would you like some mayo on that? Mayonnaise? Like y'all have some mayonnaise on that. What? Or mountain, or I guess mountain, mountain, mountain. No, but yeah, it's caramel, caramel. Caramel, wait, caramel.

Hi, I'm from the UK and we invented the language, no we didn't, we stole it from other people. We stole it from the Germans, the French, the Latin speakers and the Greeks, but I say caramel.

Oh, I totally believe that. I really do. And I actually have relatives of mine who do live in the UK and they say what you said, caramel. They don't say caramel. Good point.

I actually say it neither way. I don't say caramel, and I don't say car-mel. I say car-mel. And I think it's because of where I'm from. Partially. I was raised in West Virginia until I was six, and then I lived in northern Indiana for six years. So, I have a very unique way of talking.
