Hmm, there is a difference between prayer and meditation because one focus on something external while the other one focus on something internal. Can you guess which one is external? Can you guess which one is internal?

Yeah, uh, prayer is talking to God, and meditation is listening to God.

The difference between prayer and meditation is meditation is thinking deeply on any subject. Prayer is talking to a deity.

Now when I think of meditate, I think of internal. But when I think of internal, I also think of God and everything around you encompassing your being.

Truth indeed, for there is no separation. We are connected to all things around us, inwardly, outwardly, there is no separation.

Prayer, to me, is having a close relationship with our Creator. And on the other hand, meditation is having a deep connection with yourself.

Yeah, I can absolutely agree. You know, prayers definitely have been communication with God, with the higher source, with source, with you know, whatever people choose to call it. And meditation is definitely going within. So one is definitely external and the other one is internal. Absolutely.

I love this question. So my understanding is when you do prayer it's for a specific deity. It can be a lot. It can be Jesus. It can be Aphrodite. But when it's meditation, it is very internal and sometimes it can be very atheist. no God can be involved. It can be just to relax your body or it can be very spiritual with it involved.
