On April 24th, 2018, 13 semi-drivers helped the highway patrol and local law enforcement line up under a bridge so that a man that was going to attempt suicide would not lose his life. Oftentimes things like this go unnoticed, unreported, and unreported by the national news. September is National Suicide Prevention Month and this is the last day of September. A lot of people don't think that mental health matters. Men are more likely to commit suicide than women. Men are now one out of seven victims of domestic violence. If you feel like you are in a health crisis, all you have to do is text 988, reach out to a loved one, dial 9-1-1. No one really knows what someone else is going through. We all have something going on in our life. I urge you that if you are struggling, reach out, and that if you have a family member that you haven't heard from, reach out and make sure they're okay. Have a great day, my friends.
