My boy best friend wants to date me, what do I do?

Yeah, they do this a lot, um, coming from a person who has had many relationships and has dated friends that fancied me, um, don't do it if you don't fancy them, um, you will never go back to being friends, um, and something to consider, was he even your friend to begin with or is he just playing the long game? Go out with somebody you genuinely fancy, not someone you feel obliged to date.
