All right, so I've been married to my husband for two and a half years now, and the craziest shit popped off at dinner last night with him, my best friend, and her boyfriend. So we were all having a good time, drinks got involved, and we were talking about when we were younger. He knew my best friend before he knew me. She kind of introduced us. I had a feeling that maybe he had a crush on her way back then, but there was nothing serious. But I just figured out, out of a drunken rage, that he decided to only pursue me because she was not available. So basically, I feel like the reason why we were married is because she was not available, and that he still has a crush on her. That's fucked up. That's crazy, right? What should I do about it? I'm so hurt by it. I haven't spoke with him all day today. I'm upset.

Well, for starters, I feel like the past is the past. If he's still in love with her, then he would have obviously either divorced you or left you or even cheated on you with her. So overall, I feel like the past is the past. Don't be mad that you were second choice, but you were his first choice in marriage. So, you know, there's a lot of things that can go on in that situation. But overall, I believe that you don't— I think you shouldn't—

He will always love her. The problem is he's married to you so he's either gonna be loyal to you or this is gonna keep being a consistent problem and then it's gonna ruin your marriage. So he has to decide what he wants to do and you should decide if you wanna be able to try and fight that or handle that or what.

The fact that you even got married to him, and you just figured that out, shows that the marriage was a complete waste of time. Wow, that's insane. And basically, you were a whole rebound. And, wow. Damn.

How y'all doin' today? Well, ain't nothin' wrong with that. You know, uh, you can fix all this very easily. You gotta just make a sandwich. You know, you, your friend, and your husband get together and you know, just, uh, you know, uh, fuck like jackrabbits. So, yes.

Um, maybe talk to him about it, and then just divorce him, I guess.

Bringing the past to the present, the occupation of it is like the conversation of bringing it up and then making you feel like you shit, just because she's there it's just going to mess and now you're just dealing with drama which you shouldn't have, you know, and you shouldn't feel that way and he needs to man up, like, what type of team he's on, you know.

Honestly, I'm sorry about that, and I'm gonna go with the first guy. I believe the past is the past, you know. If he's with you, he's with you. I don't know if he has done anything that has made you feel the way you feel. I don't know your guys' situation. But I don't think it's worth it to throw away your whole marriage over that. I think y'all should come together and talk about it and try to fix the problem before it becomes a bigger issue.
