Everyone that's listening, so when you were in high school, what book did you read that you really remember that really stuck with you? That was your favorite when you read back then, or now if you're in high school now.
Lord of the Flies, I'm familiar though and I'm gonna definitely check it out to see if I'm even familiar with it. All these good suggestions. Okay, I see you Dreamy. I see you. I see you.
I've read a lot of books in high school. I really liked reading. I wish I had time to now. I just have kids. But the one that always stuck with me the most was called Living Dead Girl. Partly because of the song, but it was also a really, really good book.
My devils check out Living Dead Girl and you seem like an avid reader and hopefully you get time to read and you know find time to enjoy those stories and even new ones despite having kids though but that sounds dope.
It's a tie between The Five Pupil You Meet in Heaven and Catcher in the Rye. Those two were my all-time favorite, especially Catcher in the Rye. I actually did a painting of Holden Caulfield from the book.
That Charlie Rydell was definitely a Vibe bag thing. And the other one I'm gonna have to check out because I'm seeing the ones that everyone has seen. Well, not seen, but read. But that's very interesting. I'm gonna check out those titles, most definitely.
In middle school, my teacher brought us in this book called Maniac McGee. It was so freaking good. And in high school, I read a lot of chicken noodle soup for the team. So, bomb. Yes. It's bomb, bomb.
I didn't really read much in high school. I didn't care for books up until now that I'm 32. So in high school, Captain Underpants probably was the only one. But I don't really consider that book more like a comic series. But yeah, Captain Underpants.
It's all good. Look, Captain Underpants, that was still a book. It was a kid's book, you know, along with the little Bone series. But yeah, those are always vibes from back then. But hey, at least you enjoy reading now. So hey, development.
Since you said that you listen to it, so it's probably in the audiobook version. Okay, I'm gonna check that out too though, because I even go back and read books from back then though, so I'm gonna definitely check it out. Good suggestion.
To be honest, I really don't remember any of the books I read in high school except for Fahrenheit 451, I think it's called, or Fahrenheit 451, 45, I don't know one of them. That's the only book I remember reading.
It's extremely hard to narrow it down to one, but probably Escape from Sobibor. It's a collection of stories from survivors from a Nazi death camp that actually escaped. You should read it.
So that was really painful I can't do just one I'm doing too many good books So you should probably read the pearl which is Steinbeck Scarlet Letter I think that's Hawthorne and then definitely Cider House Rules and that's John Irving
Honestly, yeah, you can give as many as you like to. Even if I only said one though, but I do appreciate the different options though. Because I do like to read. I am definitely an avid reader, especially when the story is good or like it's about history.
Yeah, in high school I didn't really read either, but I remember reading The Giver when I was like in sixth grade, and I love that story where everyone just was in black and white, they only could see black and white, and then...
In this community everybody was assigned a job by the time you turned 12 you were assigned a job and For women the worst job you could have was being a birth mother because that means you constantly had to give birth to babies All your life. Oh, that was so messed up and then like you
You couldn't have sex or something and then sexual thoughts were stirrings. I remember that. I thought the book was just incredibly good and then if you did want to leave the community they basically killed you or something. There was a movie.
Watched a little bit of the movie, but I never finished it, but I thought the book was really really good And that's really all I can remember because in high school we read some books But I can't I vaguely remember
I remember we had to read in high school Death of a Salesman and then there was another book that we read the scarlet a I remember that scarlet letter scarlet a whatever you know
It was definitely one of my favorite books reading in high school and I've actually seen the play, the movie, and I read the book. And I would say like the best one out of all of them is the book though, because you know it gives the most details.
Good choices, good choices. Okay, okay, I see. I'm gonna check out those other titles though. And yeah, very, very good times, you know, like old memories.
