Ever heard of Apple's employee number zero? It's none other than Steve Jobs. When Apple decided to number their employee badges based on the order of joining, Steve Wozniak was given the number one, making Jobs number two. But Jobs, not wanting to be second in anything, argued for the number one spot, citing that J comes before W in the alphabet. When that didn't work, he cleverly pointed out that the number zero was still available. Since zero comes before one, he reasoned he should have it. And so Steve Jobs became Apple's employee number zero. It's a quirky tale that captures Jobs' competitive spirit and innovative thinking. Stay sharp with TL.
