Personally I get quite excited when some of my favourite singers feature in a movie. Some of them don't do a great job, I'm not gonna lie. But I do get excited. My favourite movie that features a singer is Eminem's Eight Mile, which is about him, but it's just so well played.

It depends on how they do in the movie if the movie is good with them in it and it doesn't like take away from it fucking go for it because then I'm excited cause of the movies gonna have a bummer soundtrack to I love it sometimes
