Hey guys, so I think what makes or breaks a horror movie is like jump scares, I enjoy those, supernatural type of stuff, I don't really like the gruesome stuff, The suspense, the build-up, definitely need that.
Some people might say a horror film needs jump scares and stuff like that, but ideally I don't think it really needs that. So what I think breaks horror movies is a bad plot, a poor plot and bad acting. So you just need that good acting and a good plot and I think that's really what makes horror movies stand out. And you really want that suspense and thriller aspect to it as well to make it much better.
I feel like actors can make or break a horror movie but also the plot can as well because of a horrible plot no matter how good the actors are is it gonna be a bad movie
I think if they managed to make it really scary and actually have a good plot that's what makes it a lot of horror movies now Are just all the same and not that scary.
I think jump scares are not really necessary if we're being honest. It's not horror video game. It's a horror movie But it definitely a good plot makes it makes a horror movie because for example countdown It has such a good plot and it's it's a smart plot as well and I watched it by myself at night and I can tell you it was a great movie.
