Sorry for my loud background but I've been battling with depression for a little bit here and I was just trying to see if you guys could help me out with some ways that you deal with it.

Music, music, music, music. I deal with my anxiety that way. I deal with my ADHD tendencies that way. I deal with happiness that way. All emotions I deal with with music. Yeah, there's a song for every emotion.

I would say for depression is walking. Walking, listen to uplifting music, whatever the situation is, look at it and talk back to it positively.

Another thing, looking at your situation, seeing the things that you can control and the things you can't, some things you just have to let go and deal with the things that you know you can fix and you can control, work on those and what you can't, pray and give it to God.

Talking about a higher level of depression then, oh, I don't feel so up today or I'm feeling down. So I'm going to tell you, talking to someone experienced is the best way.

I also want to say that this is very difficult to say in 15 seconds, but you know, just finding the right person to talk to and dealing with what is at the heart of the depression is the best.

I also understand what it's like to be paralyzed by depression and when you can't move you can't be happy If you can get up just stand up and do jumping jacks 10 of them it will change things

Whatever you can do to get up, to move, to move your body, to get the blood flowing in your body, and to look outside and to be present is the key.

You will find that something will come along to help you, to help you motivate, to help you move to get to that next place you need to be.

You just gotta understand that any negative feeling you may be having is only temporary and it'll pass and try to make more of your life for positivity.

Actually pretty cool. We will not deal with the depression, but the depression will deal with us.

I've had depression all my life but what I do now is I just take things step by step, day by day, take each day as it comes, try to be happy, love people and care. It's all about...
