I think the key is being able to prove to your partner that what's happening is unhealthy. Because then that gives them the chance to change what's happening. And if they don't want to work or they can't for some reason, then the conversation of being friends is easier.

For both kind of relationship, I think it comes down to putting your self-worth above what's going on and the other person, which is so hard to do, but sometimes you have to.

Okay, so I find this quite easy to do but I do know that I understand why it could be difficult because obviously You need to be a little bit selfish, you know So but this is very important, especially long-term in other relationships as well.

Thank you Paris for asking this question. It is a valid question. There are so many responses I can give to this question so I will marinate on it and then come back.

Definitely all boils down to communication and putting yourself first and having that conversation if the person will listen to you because all relationships are different everyone's different so you

If you're in a situation where the person doesn't want to communicate or hear what you have to say, you just have to make that decision to leave. It takes a lot, but it's going to be worth it in the end because you're putting yourself first and you have to make that decision.

Hopefully the decision to leave them was logical. So leave them logically. Send them a text, tell them we can talk later in person, but make the disconnect. A text makes it very easy. A call is emotional and could drag you back in. Just tell them we can talk later in person, but make the disconnect.

Obviously the first step is leaving but the key to getting out is actually closing that door on that person once you do leave. Making sure there's no way that you or them can come back into each other's lives. Like you get that space that you need however long you need to move on.

I just turned around and walked away. I have no time for negativity in my life. And you know what the worst part is? They make it seem like it's all your fault.

I think that's easy and you can just like you know drive them crazy and make them mad and make them hate you You know just do some like annoying stuff Just kidding

I was gonna say, oh my gosh, no. Like, you never know what these toxic relationships are gonna occur. So definitely don't do that. They'll make it even more toxic. And just, no.

So me and my ex were like toxic to each other. Like I didn't want him to leave and he didn't want me to leave either. So one randomly one. So randomly one day he just just cheated on me. So that's how you get out.
