Let's talk about it. My question is, why do people need others' input to date someone or to give them an opportunity?

But I feel like others input is always going to be biased and it can actually ruin great opportunities and great relationships, potential relationships.

My personal experience? I feel like in the girl world, like in my world as a young lady, it's very normalized almost. You see it in movies and TV shows. You ask your girlfriends first, you know?

In general, I just feel like it's because people think they might be missing something in their excitement. They might be missing some red flags, they need a third-person input, something along those lines.
