My best friend gave me a nickname one time and it was like a really big inside joke and then after that we became like way closer and I don't know it's just like it felt more loving than almost anything else I've ever experienced somehow

My dad's not talking to me right now. We always have the he like is an emotionally unavailable person, but like everybody in my life always checks in and asks like, Hey, did your dad talk to you yet? Did your dad talk to you? I just think that's like, it's pretty sweet that people

Hey, that's good. I feel that though, like with my family, I don't talk to literally any of them and my parents are deceased. so like my siblings won't talk to me and I really feel you on that.

But that is a really sweet gesture for them to like check on you and see how things are going with you and your dad and I'm sorry that things got like that sucks really sad and I feel really bad

remember the little things that I mentioned my current partner actually did this for me where I had brought up that my mom accidentally ate the chocolates that he gave me so the next time we met up he gave me a whole bag chocolate. That was so sweet.

I also want to say that when I brought it up to my partner, I wasn't like asking him to buy me more chocolates. I just like brought it up casually being like, oh, like my mom accidentally ate them. but you know thank you for him again and you know just just thanking him and yeah he showed up with them
