Hey fam, hey what's really good? In today's sound ****, I want to talk about why are we so hard on ourselves when it comes to our inner and outer beauty. Why do we not give ourselves enough self love?
Listen, y'all can call me insensitive but honestly I don't think this is about light skin or dark skin. This is more about physical fitness. It's all it's about, financial fitness.
We have to find our light. Come on now. Let's take it. Morris Chestnut versus Michael Ealy. Both of them will pull the same amount of women. You know what? Because they got theyself together. That's why.
Come on now, if you know that you're really a 10, but your weight is pushing you down to a 5, you may need to work on your weight so that you can be that perfect 10.
There are numerous amounts of physically attractive, wealthy women who are very insecure. I'm just, it's a fact. I mean, it's look it up. You know what I'm saying? How do we get past that is what I'm saying.
We're so hard on ourselves about our inner beauty because just look at the beauty standards that are put in today's society. If you're not met up with them, you're bullied. Or you've got something else going on.
So what we have to do is activate self-awareness, social role valorization to heal and establish our own beauty standards and care enough about ourselves.
So like for me and I think most girls deal with this too, especially if you're in a relationship, a lot of times we compare ourselves to other women who might look better than us or have better things going for themselves and we question ourselves like damn you know she got all this so we gotta look like this.
Like, oh, we gotta look a certain way to get a man or a certain particular man, not just any right? But this like, later on I realized like, no, you gotta love yourself because that's what's gonna show when you really love yourself.
So the more and more I started loving myself, undoing things for myself that I expect from a man, how I want him to treat me, I just do it for myself because it makes me happy and people see that glow because I'm doing so much for myself to make me happy.
