All right y'all let's try to keep this as a safe place as possible we're not gonna judge anybody here we're just gonna throw out ideas OK I'm a single mom Michael he gets in trouble from time to time sometimes it's a little shit sometimes it's a big shit I'm just curious to know what are you guys do for discipline when you're in a situation and whether it's a small situation that just needs a little nip in the bud real quick or big situation where you're like damn I really gotta buckle down and handle this shit what are you guys doing you know what is what are your pro tips here and like I said it's a safe place we're not judging anybody what does tossing out ideas trying to help each other
I don't have any pro tips. I just teach them that actions have consequences. I hold them accountable And I just try to help them just process and just work through why they made the decision that they did and make better choices.
But I'm not gonna lie like I really struggle with disappointment because I came from a abusive household so it's hard for me to hit my kid my kids I don't tell them no they literally walk all over me they popping on with my ass when they
I would say start with installing a good value system and then sets good boundaries kids will act out mine old dead but if you do it right they will snap back and
That's a good a good punishment is like her reduce water privileges and I'll give it the big in a bit to Olympia and even chatting shit they are just tagged you wanna go for a drink just fucking said no no no no drinking water for you
Somebody might hate me for this but I think discipline is when you take something from somebody just like as an adult if you don't pay your car note they're taking your car if you don't pay your rent they're taking your house so I'm taking something
I consider discipline doing something regardless of how you feel. You don't feel like it, still getting up and doing it. You don't want to, still getting up and doing it. that's discipline.
