That's very true. I too like to know what I'm getting myself into, which is why when I'm on dates I'm very mindful of how much things are going to cost and if there's anything I could do to make it more affordable, I will. Just clear communication, you know?
Oh my goodness, I'm just like you for real. Like I have to know what I'm getting myself into. My partner paid on our first date, which was nice. It wasn't much to be honest anyways, but it's nice that he did that for me. And I hope the same goes for you.
Oh my goodness, are you for real? I, what? Like wait, wait, wait, wait. How did they make you pay the whole bill? Did they have an excuse like, oh, I left my wallet at home, or like promised to ***** you? I gotta hear the details now.
Oh well, it's nice to know that you don't mind because I can't begin to tell you how many times I've heard of people not going on a second date because they split the bill on the first date. it's like to them it's a massive deal breaker.
That is very true. We don't know who exactly makes these rules. I think it's more like the expectations of like the people before us and what they've set. So, yeah, that's good that you're definitely willing to pay, because that's what my partner did too.
Oh wow, I had no idea that countries like Germany and Sweden expect you to split the bill. I never heard of that until now. But I might there with you. If the guy invited you and all that, then yeah, he should pay. partner paid on our first date.
If I knew ahead of time and we wanted to do something like expensive or something and we were like OK if we wanna go to like Disneyland okay sure I'll pay my ticket but if it's like dinner I don't know
I love how you mentioned Disneyland because that's something I've been planning to do with my partner. But I'm right there with you. If you knew ahead of time, you know, having the communication be clear on like what's expected, that's a great answer. I appreciate it.
I fake reach for my wallet, but deep down no, I would not want to split the bill on the first date, especially when the guy is the one asking me out. Come on.
