No it wouldn’t be acceptable, and no I don’t think turning off your feminine side as a woman should be acceptable. The truth is when a female is displaying feminine traits she can expect the best results, the same for men displaying masculine traits. It all goes back to what a persons end goal is. If it’s a successful marriage and family than this matters.

I was just asking you genuinely for your opinion, I wasn’t being sarcastic 100. I just wanted your take on why you think we as a society came to that conclusion, really. But yah my personal opinion, women should refrain from crying for the hell of it or for personal gain, even if women are emotional by nature—we should be held accountable for ourselves, we should have awareness of when we’re acting foolish. For men, only people you go to for advice can see you cry.

I feel like it's unacceptable for both genders, that's just my thoughts. It's a double standard, to be honest. I personally don't know how to be masculine or hard. I'm just a naturally feminine person. But I have seen some women switch up. And yes, it's definitely a double standard. No, it's not acceptable for men or women.

But don't get me wrong, I know how to be assertive, I know how to be vocal, but even when I am those things, I'm somehow always still feminine. I don't know if that makes sense, but it makes sense when you see it.
