So as someone who's worked all sorts of service jobs, I would say fast food by far because people turn into demonic entities when they are hungry. I'm sorry. They just is crazy.
Yeah, I will agree. During the holidays, people just act crazy, especially during them Black Friday sales. Oh my God, and one time I almost did lay hands on somebody, Lord.
I hate working in hot cramped kitchens but when it comes to retail people make their problems your issues like it's your fault it's out of stock and now you want to fight in the cop-op.
The stock thing is what will set me off the quickest. They always talk about, oh, can you look in the back? Girl, you think Narnia's back there? What the fuck do you think is back there? Get the fuck out my face, Lord.
I would say retail because you have these outlets and people want to go like, yeah. I know people that's going to the outlets today. I was speaking during last minute Christmas shopping and people are in the line. People want to get shit. Shit's getting sold out and all that shit. People get fucking belligerent.
Agreed and my whole thing is like why are you making your last minute shopping? My problem like I did not tell you baby girl to wait until the day before Christmas.
Retail during the holidays is like dealing with that great aunt that keeps asking you every time you sit down at the table why you're getting so fat. But in our reality she should probably be more concerned about her husband going out to smoke crack or some other dangerous form of drugs.
Why bust out laughing extra scenario? Yes, their priorities are never straight. But yeah, in any case, I just don't like people coming into these service jobs period to vent whatever power they lacking at home.
That part, it's like they come in mad at you because they haven't dealt with what they're dealing with, like with what they're going through. And I feel like I'm just here to get a tech barber and give you whatever perks you want. Leave me alone.
Fast food is worse because you go home smelling like food. You've had to deal with greasy food all day. At least in retail you get like, sale items. You know, even though it's not that bad.
I truly think people think that retail slash fast food spaces are where they should go to like, I guess, vent or whatever. And I'm like, maybe if you vent with me, I might smack you like you need to back up.
