Dear independent people, are you better off in a marriage or single, happy and free? What's more beneficial? Be honest.

I mean being single doesn't necessarily mean that you're free. You're free of a relationship but you may have a lot of emotional baggage, you may have a lot of financial baggage. Yeah, so I don't know, depends on the person.

You should use that free time and I'm not saying you specifically but all people choose the time they're not in a relationship to really hone their personal development skills and different aspects of your life particularly financially and emotionally and if you can physically you know yeah there's a really big issues that you should correct so you don't have to bring it into the next relationship

I can't really answer this question because I've never been married. But being single is cool, sometimes. And then the bag gets lonely and cold.

Hi, not single but I am an independent person and I do believe that being single is more free and easier and you don't have to deal with people's problems and you can just get ready and go and live your life.

Relationships can be really tough because if you and your partner aren't on the same path it can really cause a lot of issues and a lot of uncertainty in both of your lives.

At the same time, it is really nice to have a relationship, to trust somebody, to love somebody, to take care of them, for them to take care of you, you know, go on dates and to have somebody you truly love and you're loyal to.

I really like your response and that's exactly how I feel. I'm in the middle.

This is kind of contradictory to the question, but it depends on the person and it depends on the error. Like, if you was, for example, if this was the old west, it was formal to have an old lady at home cooking.

It was formal to have an old lady at home cooking and cleaning and taking care of the house and taking care of the kids while the man was ranching or whatever the hell he was doing. Nowadays it's not as common.

You know, I ask myself this question every day. Part of me wants to be married, but then part of me also wants to stay an independent woman. So, I don't know.

I'm not gonna lie, I spent most of my life single because of circumstances and at this moment I'm ready for a relationship and marriage because during them times of being single I learned

Learn to appreciate myself and self-worth and self-love. So now I'm one to learn how to love someone else.

Being married never means being independent. It's okay to be married and at the same time you are independent. And regarding the question I'm better off being single. You are free.

Free in your time, you're not restricted to somebody and you're not obliged to do things in the sake of relationship.

I've been single for so long, but I think that I would do better in a relationship. And I have yet to see that, but I just believe that I would.
