I've learned this the hard way and I wanted to talk about it There's this temporary feeling of happiness because you know like scientifically like, you know brain chemicals dopamine and blah blah blah But then if you're not in a healthy relationship, you're not in a healthy relationship.

Well, no. That doesn't make me happy. Makes me more bored.

I wouldn't say sex makes me happy per se but it definitely affects my levels of happiness and my mental health. Sex plays a big part in my relationships. I don't really enjoy sex outside of relationships though, I like connection.

Well, there's a difference between sex, the action, and sex that's actually gratifying and pleasurable to yourself and to your partner. So I think there's a key difference.

Back when I was going through my whole phase, yes. Now it's just like, it's every once in a while, it just spikes up out of nowhere. My boyfriend would be like, oh my gosh, what's going on with you today? I was like, I don't know, but give me some of that.

Well, personally, I cannot say much on the matter because intimacy has always made me happy and I've never been in an unhealthy relationship. But coming from me, sex or intimacy should always be a beautiful thing.

In general sex effects deliver hormones that are responsible for happiness so it does make anyone happy.
