hello to whoever's listening. Um, I wanted to know your take on long distance relationships. Any types?

I believe it just depends on a person. If you really like physical contact with someone and you need to have that attraction and like physical touch, I believe long distance is not for you, but if you can wait and endure then yes.

Patience was really not my strong suit but this time it feels like you know I can do it. So let's see where it goes and thank you.

Long distance relationships are temporary at best. They don't last very long because in order to have a relationship you have to be with somebody and the internet is not a substitute. Letters aren't a substitute. Phone calls are a substitute.

Based on my experience, it didn't really work well, but if both of them have trust, good communication, and a lot of assurance, I think it could work.

Sorry, I didn't even let you finish but no. Especially in my 20s right now if you're exploring and it's like your first few relationships don't... there's a lot of fish in the sea man.

I do agree, but I don't know maybe it's a case-to-case basis you know if the long distance is temporary then it just might work out.

Well, I don't know from where shall I start and where shall I end because this long distance relationship has taken my life away. I have suffered a lot and still I am dealing with this situation.

And I would say this long distance relationship is not that easy because you have to be very loyal and understanding with your partner. It's really very painful.

Thank you for sharing your story. What you went through, it's very sad and it does take a lot of time to heal, but I do hope you heal soon.

For me, it takes a lot of work, long distance relationship, but it's not for the long run. So I guess just need to work it out until it's together.

I personally think I can't do it. If it's cool with someone else then good for them but for me I don't think I can.

Well, at least you know what works for you and what doesn't. It's a good thing. You know, for some people it takes a lot of time to figure.

I'm currently in a long distance relationship and it does take a lot of trust, a lot of communication and it's been five years already.

I've been in a few different long-distance relationships and my husband right now is a result of one of those. And I can say it was really difficult but it was one of the best learning experiences I've ever had.

specifically because I feel like I learned a lot about what I want, what I don't want, what I can handle, and the things that are definitely a red flag for me.
