Is having an extra account of money while married being sneaky? If the person you're married to doesn't know about it, no matter what it's for.

I don't think so because at least I've seen it with my parents when I was younger. My dad would let's say we would go on a trip and my mom was not counting on extra money and then my dad suddenly like oh here I have this extra little stash of money that I've been saving

Yep, she should let me know where all the money goes and she should give me access to that account at all times. And she's how I do things is very traditional where I'm from and I just don't agree with the idea of her having money

I think having separate accountants completely okay as long as you're not hiding it from your spouse. If you're hiding any financial situation or thing from your spouse that's financial fidelity. It's a concept I use to learn of and it's interesting.
