Why is cheating getting normalised like It's just something that I really need to know. It's like it's becoming so normal. It's not even a problem anymore.

The introduction of dating apps and the increased availability of new romantic and sexual partners, as well as the shift in traditional relationship and dating norms.

I hear you and I actually really like this. I do disagree. I don't think it's popular. It's always been there. It's just ten times more accessible. But I think people are actually becoming their deepest self and they would do that to some extent.

I guess what I'm saying is everyone is capable of doing it, but it's finding those individuals that value another person so deeply that it would be unthinkable to ever do that to them.

And I think the more we see it happen, the more it happens, the more we lose interest in finding someone that values you and the more we lose interest in valuing someone because you just don't know when, you never know when you're actually wasting your time.

Honestly, what we're seeing is like a societal shift. There's a lot of people, especially now, that are kind of moving away from those traditional values and even what religion has been teaching our parents and our grandparents.

It's important to note that loyalty and respect have nothing to do with upbringing or religion or even morals that have been taught to you. So if you love someone and you have a respect for them, doing something like that to them is and should be unthinkable.

And if you look back, usually society normalizes certain things simply because they don't want to feel bad for doing it. So it's not a good thing but cheating should definitely not be normalized simply because it is a disconnect from your partner.

That is so true. I completely agree. And it's really nice to hear quite a few other people agree with me and that actually see this problem for the problem it is.
