Basically it got hacked by a religious and political group. they are holding it ransom for 30,000 dollars paid in bitcoin. Along with using DDoS which basically makes the server crash because of too many requests into the server. People also believe it’s a part of the Kota (or whatever it’s called) movement (it so-called protects children from stuff on the internet.) and attacking Archive of our own (LGBTQIA+) instead of CP websites or things like that

Me personally I never take that

It’s apparently been broken for more than a day now

Can they stop it?

They have been trying too. They even hired volunteers to help
