hey everybody hope you all having a fantastically beautiful day i want to get on here to talk about the placebo effect when i feel like especially in the west we think the placebo effect means it's like it's fake it's a hoax it's it's not good um and but we doubt the power of the placebo effect itself the okay so if if you guys don't know, the placebo effect is... there are scientific studies basically how scientists conduct studies on pharmaceutical drugs is they have various groups. they have a group where they distribute said drug and they say it does this. they have another group that distributes like a sugar or water pill and they say it does this and in the majority of cases the control group that had the sugar or water pill or whatever they experienced healing benefits that along the lines of what they should have experienced with the pharmaceutical drug showing that if you believe in something hard enough you can literally manipulate an outcome. that's the placebo effect. and yet I feel like Westerners are like, you're in the placebo effect, it's just a placebo effect. but wait, why? we did that with our mind and our belief! why aren't more people understanding that the placebo effect is actually showing that we are fucking superhuman? Hello? What are your thoughts on this? Go.

with that being said, when we hear about practices such as manifestation and putting your intentions out there and focusing and holding on to an intention, it's because what we believe, which then turns into a reality, is that we believe in the fact that we can't just be like, oh, I'm not going to be like this, I'm going to be like this, I'm going to be like this, I'm going to be like this, I'm going to be like this, I'm going to be like this,

turns into annoying because we no longer have to say i believe it's like not convincing ourselves anymore as like bitch i know and then what we really really know manipulates and turns into the outcome we want What are your thoughts?

Mad Xavier, there are so many wild stories on the placebo effect and it all goes back to what we believe to be true, which is a deep inner knowing that we attach ourselves to.

That's why mindfulness is key. Same with the people who think themselves sick. You can thank yourself to help too.

Yeah, I feel like a lot of the time people think that the placebo effect means it's not actually working, but you're just thinking it is. But most of the time it's like your body tricking yourself into actually working

I think the power of belief is massive and this is like a whole big conversation but But I believe that we're only limited by the limitations that we have in our mind.

Yes, Ash, I'm right there with you. Remember that line in the Matrix when they said, There is no spoon. When that line was spoken, all mics around the world were dropped.
