Hey everybody, hey Stee. I like your question. It doesn't make you numb. I believe it empowers you to be able to deal with anything so you don't allow anything to control your emotions.

Yeah, definitely empowerment. I would say that but into the eyes of people who like, you know, maybe are developing their emotional intelligence, it can come across like we're very numb, like we're not addressing it but I think the difference is we've addressed it not we're

I'm having trouble with the question because if you're emotionally intelligent, you can't really be numb because numbness is neutrality to emotional intelligence.

I think yeah, it is neutrality but that's when you get emotional intelligence. It doesn't escape the fact that before we classified that as numbness in which case we can still feel it even though we're aware of it.

No, I don't feel numb. I fucking wish it made me feel numb. It makes me feel everything. I think emotional intelligence makes you feel everything.

Very true, you are then as emotionally intelligent susceptible to way more than people that used to stay under the radar. But the thing is that does that make you eventually get numb to these experiences as you just get used to it?

Mm-hmm. Yeah, I think you're right. It's depending on which side of the fence you're looking at. Because, of course, you've experienced so many things enough to know not to do them and then you see, you know, other things other people doing it can get a bit fucked up and make you feel a little bit dead inside.

I honestly think it's the opposite of feeling numb because for me, I feel like the more emotional intelligence I get, the more I'm able to understand people's perspectives and like feel their pain.
