So just a bit ago, I was listening into this conversation about people talking about copying and I want to ask you guys, does anyone hate when someone copies you? Like or people, you know? Because I know some are like, oh, I don't care. Like I'm going to be me and you know, they'll never be that. And I always say you is you and that is your power. So that's where I stand. But I know some people personally find it so annoying and try to figure out a way to stop it. So let me know what side you're on.

I feel like as human beings, as artists, I mean anything creative, we are inspired by other people, other works, nature. I mean, life is just a carbon copy and it just keeps evolving and getting better, right? Evolution. It copies itself and gets better. So I feel that imitation is caused by inspiration and you shouldn't get worked up over it. I inspire people and people inspire me.

Personally, I don't care because eventually you're not gonna see me anymore So, you know, I'm not your sibling or something but I'm... well, I bet that really mattered, you know?

But like if you're copying someone else's music or something, then that's wrong because they made it up and it's their own technique or something, you know what I mean? Like you shouldn't copy other people's art or music or skill just because you don't have your own.

So the reason why they copy other people is because they want to feel normal, right? They don't feel normal with their own personality and they are very unsure who they are at the moment. But the person that they most respect, the person that they look up to, that's who they're going to copy. And that's normal for them. They think that's them. They think they're normal like that. So, um, and if they have that sort of connection with you.

Normal is literally somebody's idea of what is okay. Normal doesn't really exist. Being natural is a hint or a feeling of uniqueness but being normal is somebody's conformity to society or somebody's conformity to somebody else's is okay. And that's not okay. We all need to be unique.

You know if I see somebody copying me then it means like they're inspired, right? And that's cool. So how I maneuver that is about we both share this interest, you know. I have literally been in front groups toward people claim dominance over the competition. It's weird. It's weird dynamics but they're like I was into this since when I was in the fetus and they tried it's so weird

I mean I do hate when people copy me a little bit but I mean I don't mind when somebody says like oh where is that shit from? I'm always a pants from like I obviously I'll tell them I won't get keep but it's just like when they copy every single move that you do it's just like oh my god like, can you just be horizontal? And I mean, like, I don't even have good style or anything like, I could just be a basic.

Now like when someone copies me it means like they admire me and they want to be me so like I personally take it as a compliment but like I do get annoyed but like you know it's nice like people who aren't trying to be you.

I feel like yeah, but at the same time I only feel that I hate it when they don't credit me. Like if you copied me and you claim that you came up with that on your own, yeah I'm gonna be mad. But if you call me and you're like, oh yeah, I got it from her. Yeah, I don't care.

What you just said about credit is exactly how I see the difference between being copied or being inspired because if someone has taken inspiration from me, that's awesome. Do what you want to do. But you know what you just said about someone just acting like they started it? Uh, no. Yeah, that's not the vibe. And yeah, again, totally see where you're coming from on that. So thank you for putting in your two cents on that.

Um, yes, I actually hate when people copy me. Like, this is like one girl at my school. She would like to copy everything I do. Like, she would copy my hairstyle and my style and everything. I thought she was still fucking annoying.

I only find it annoying because people like make fun of me for like wearing crocs or like being different and then you know like six months later I see everybody wearing crocs and they try to make it like they invented that shit. That shit pisses me off because you give me fucking trauma for fucking wearing crocs but then you have the audacity to fucking start wearing this shit that you were making fun of me before and then act like it's a big cool thing, like yeah, that shit makes me fucking wanna-

Storytime, so I have this friend that copies like whatever I do and she's every time I wear something she tries to wear something similar or like when I do my hair she like does it the same or she says the same things as me or likes the same things as me whenever I say I like it even though I've heard her say she did not like it before which is so annoying and I like, I mean this guy likes me and she's always hanging all over him and and it gets on my nerves so sometimes I just want to hit it with a brush.
