Personally I would say so because you know if you're having a tough time you know maybe you could just open a game and try to forget about things for a bit so I think it can help some people.
I think gaming can improve mental health for the sake of, you know, blurring some steam but as long as you don't go overboard and get addicted to it but extremely obsessive with it, I would say, It was a new waste time a lot.
