hands down the only people to know the issues in your relationship first should be you and your partner like I need you to understand how fucking embarrassing that would be for someone to come tell you something about your partner that you didn't know

I know like this is not the most valued answer, but I think it should be the person that you're in the relationship with. They should be able to be the first ones to know about the issues.
