Many think they know what empathy is and maybe they do, maybe they don't, but it's a complete different meaning than sympathy. Empathy is to have understanding, to kind of like put your feet in someone else's shoes, to empathize with them, to feel what they're going through. It's a way of showing compassion versus sympathy is Completely different kind of just feel sorry for the old sap. Thank goodness. They need to me feel sorry for that person So when someone feels sorry for you, it even sounds like a little bit of like gosh who wants somebody feel sorry for them but empathizing is more of a connection You get what I'm saying? So do you know what empathy is? Do you have it? Is it an innate trait? or just something that you must learn.
