Alright y'all, let me get in y'all's business. What questions do y'all ask somebody that you are interested in? Like for me, I like to ask them What happened in their last relationship? Why are they single now and have they healed from it? What about y'all?

I can't think of particular questions right now, but I like to ask open-ended questions to try to figure out what his mindset is about a variety of topics.

For example, whether he has a positive or negative view of marriage. And this shouldn't be asked directly, but it can be ascertained by asking indirect questions and seeing whether his answers skew positively or negatively.

Another example is whether he has a growth or fixed mindset. You know, does he think that everything is set in stone and nothing can be done when there's a problem? Or does he think that things can be worked on? You figure this out indirectly as well.

Another example is figuring out whether he is generally positive or generally negative. Now I don't do that by asking him his opinion of himself. I figure this out by observing him and having discussions with him.

All in all, I think that questions are overrated and we pay way too much attention to them. Overall, you can learn everything you need to know about a person by simply observing them and not making excuses for their sideways behavior.

Those questions you say are very important but besides all those answers that he is going to give me, I just try to analyze him as much as I can at the end of the day.

Actions are more valid than words. He can maybe say to me, yeah, I'm healed. I am ready, blah, blah. But if his behavior show me the opposite, then it's a red flag.

I'm going to ask questions to know how self-aware they are because I think that's huge.

you can ask them why their last relationship ended so that way you can conclude what is their current behavior

I have like a whole long questionnaire for them starting with personal desires, what job they have, if they like cats.

So when I'm on a date with someone, one of the very first things I ask is how far along, like how serious was their last relationship and how long they've been single from that, because the answers can really surprise you.
