This reminds me of that one season of American Horror Story, the hotel one, where the guy's the investigator, and it turns out that he's actually the one who did everything. That was creepy.

Yes, I think it needs to like, let's work on the beginning. The beginning should be like, it's like horror isn't even his thing, but he's like introduced to it by like a significant other or something and then he's like hooked on it and then the significant other becomes in trouble.
