I feel like society is at a point right now where even though mainstream media isn't talking about this and creating a new norm based on the abundance of scientific studies we have that show the dangers of sugar. Oh, mainstream media! We don't need mainstream media to validate the fact that sugar is sinister. sugar is addictive, especially added sugars. I'm not talking about all the sugars bad and all that, but we really have to take a pause and sit back and see, well, what effect does sugar really have on our bodies? There's a plethora of lab rat studies that show that rats will honestly go to sugar over cocaine. Sugar has been proven to be more addictive than cocaine. And yet we are still celebrating holidays such as Halloween where we are literally drugging up the youth and people with sugar that's addicting that is literally degenerative to our brains to our nerves It's... one of those things that irks me. It does. So anyways, I linked a podcast episode that goes into the effects on sugar and how it affects us, our bodies, our minds, our moods, our mental health. I mean, it goes deep, you guys. I love you feel like there is like sugar is addicting and it honestly does have an effect on your mood inside of me believe all of this I feel like I've heard this before

Yeah, this is something that is being more prevalent in our news as it should be, you know, because of how normalized it is. We have a lot of awareness to spread with this matter. One thing that I thought was interesting in the podcast was, she said, when we hit multiple sugar blood spikes that actually decreases our lifespan and research backs this up.

The tip she suggested in the video is you can have the same four items on your plate, but depending on the order you eat it in will actually show whether or not your blood sugar levels will spike. To avoid a blood sugar level spike with four items on your plate, the same four items, never reach for the carb or the sugary item first. That is going to go straight into your bloodstream. she suggests.

To always eat the fibrous item first and the reason for being is unlike a carb where it'll shoot straight into your bloodstream without it having any slow down motion the fiber is going to be that slow down motion so all the food that comes down after it will kind of be stopped by that fiber because when it hits your small intestine before entering into it it kind of opens up and block set canal.

It's like we know we live in a world where sugar just fucking exists everywhere. So it's cool to see kind of different biological hacks we can use so we aren't dying. You know right? Because I mean nowadays things are just different than even our great grandparents. Our great grandparents didn't get a taste of the process world that you and I both just live through every single day.
