If you've got problems with the idea that we all descended from a common ancestor, what's the main problem that you have with that idea? For me, once it was just the idea that it seemed so impossibly improbable that all of these things could descend without anyone guiding them. But I realized if God did the guiding, then of course it would be no problem for him to guide things things the way he wanted to. And if there is no God, then there was no goal in mind. And so, you know, the fact that 99% of all species that ever existed died out along the way, and we're one of the surviving one, that doesn't, you know, there was no goal in mind to create humans necessarily. But here we are, and so So we're thinking about the question.
